Use Coconut Oil
- To Hydrate & Moisturize Your Face - Try using a small pea sized amount on dry facial areas after a shower or bath. Due to the oil this can stain, so be careful not to get it on your clothes and only use a very small amount on your skin if this is your first time using Coconut Oil.
- To Nourish Your Hair - Rub through the ends and tips of your hair, leave for a few minutes and then wash out.
- As A Massage Oil - Try using a small amount at first and then add more as needed.
- As A Bath Oil - Add a few drops for a light and moisturizing bath oil to leave you silky soft.
- To Smooth Flyaway Hair Rub a very small amount between your hands and smooth over the tips of your hair.
- Other Tips - Use as a cuticle oil and to reduce the appearance of scars.

Staff Review by Mel Hurst
Before trying this, I had only ever heard of using coconut oil for cooking, so when I was introduced to Kuumba Made's exotic 'Jasmine Coconut Oil' I was very intrigued! After some research I discovered just how versatile these little pots could be. The most popular uses are as a body oil for moisturizing and to use on your hair.
They come in what look like fairly miniature pots, however when using this I've found you only really need to use a pea-sized amount at a time, so they are small but mighty! And the fragrance is gorgeous, I kept taking the lid off the pot just to smell it.
I've been using this during the winter season, & when I open the pot it is normally in a solid state so you do have to warm it up slightly to use it. I found that I could simply hold it between my hands for maybe 30 seconds and it would start to liquefy. Or alternatively, you can scoop out a very small amount with a spoon, I then blend it with a small amount of hot water in a heat proof dish. During hotter months you can keep this in the fridge if you find it's always in a liquid state.
Mainly, I've used this on the very tips of my hair by running a small amount of the oil through with a comb, or rubbing between my hands. I then left it in overnight and washed it out in the morning and it very noticeably left it my hair softer and smoother. I've also been using this an a moisturiser, you really only need a very small amount, but it left my skin feeling soft and nourished and was particularly beneficial during winter months when the cold elements can dry out your skin.
I've yet try this for its other uses such as a bath oil & a massage oil, but so far I've been using this for a few months and there's still a lot left in the pot, so I would definitely give this little beauty a try!
