Tarot Books

Tarot cards usually come with an instruction booklet to get you started with the cards, but if you'd like to learn more about how the tarot can be read or different ways in which it can be used, there are plenty of books available on the topic.

Most of the books in this section are non-deck specific and can be used with most types of tarot cards. The books focus on the general meanings and archetypal energies of the cards (e.g. the three of wands), making them applicable to whatever style of tarot deck you own.

Some of the books only use one deck to illustrate the meaning of the cards – most often, this is the Original Rider Waite tarot deck.
