Angel Cards do not conform to any one particular system so therefore the number of cards in a deck can vary. Most have pictures and some, like the Angels of Light cards do not. Angel cards give angelic wisdom and help give more clarity and input into our lives. The "Original Angel Cards" are the cards that are thought to have given popularity to angel cards back in 1978 with the start of the Transformation Game at the Findhorn Community in Scotland. Since that time there have been many angel card decks produced. Some of the most popular are by Doreen Virtue, Diana Cooper and also the Original Angel Cards.

The paintings and images chosen for each keyword are excellent and appropriate and the colours rich. The deck comes with a booklet that is exactly the same size as the cards. They both then fit into a solid box that has a coloured gloss finish. The images are far ranging with pictures taken from both modern and older pieces of artwork. The booklet helps bring the ideas within the cards to life although the pictures sum up very well each situation. For each card there is a card summary followed by two more detailed long paragraphs. Since launch these cards have rapidly become a best seller in the holistic market place.

It is a beautiful set to own, the booklet is easy to understand and invites immediate use of the cards. Now with these cards, I would say you need some experience and probably should have intuitive skills to combine with the reading. The cards as always by Doreen, are of very high quality and lovely artwork.
