Angel Cards do not conform to any one particular system so therefore the number of cards in a deck can vary. Most have pictures and some, like the Angels of Light cards do not. Angel cards give angelic wisdom and help give more clarity and input into our lives. The "Original Angel Cards" are the cards that are thought to have given popularity to angel cards back in 1978 with the start of the Transformation Game at the Findhorn Community in Scotland. Since that time there have been many angel card decks produced. Some of the most popular are by Doreen Virtue, Diana Cooper and also the Original Angel Cards.

Each time I think there is nothing more than can be done with angels she surprises me once more. She has produced decks of cards before connected with angels. But I must confess that this is something different again. This is a simple to use deck of cards. As is usual with anything by Doreen Virtue, these cards are beautifully designed, and that is no understatement. The artwork is terrific. Even the backs of the cards are splendid, a purple-backed picture of an angel with a predominance of gold in the depiction. These cards can be used just for the pleasure of their artwork and the feel of them in the hands. The use of them for divination is also easy to learn. There are no complicated spreads. There is a three-card spread plus the drawing of just one card. I have many oracle decks but, I have to admit, Ms Virtue has won me over yet again.

By Helena, Carmarthenshire This is the first set of angel cards I have bought and although I use tarot, I find these cards to be much easier to use - would be really good for anyone begining to have an interest in angels or spiritualism in general. The images are beautiful and the printed messages both comforting and enlightening. Would recommend to all.

By Nel, Dorset I now have 5 sets of Doreen Virtue cards and this set is a personal favourite. It's such an individual thing choosing a set of cards and you may have a year where one set is a paticular favourite and then the next year its another set. Personally I don't think you can go wrong with Doreen Virtue because they are all so positive.
By Jemma, Essex This was the first set of oracle cards I've purchashed for myself. Took me a couple of tries to get anything from them but after reading the instructions and learning to listen to myself these have become a very useful tool to have!!
I have since bought other sets of cards all equally good, though this is my favorite set! I still have to try a reading for my friends but I'm sure I'll try!!
