Blue Agate - Blue
This tone helps to make autonomous decisions with-out letting yourself be influenced by your surroundings and passions.

The energy of agates is comforting and soothing, so it's a good tool to have around if you feel in need of relaxation, stress-relief or want to stop worrying. The energy reminds us that we need to take a step back sometimes to regain balance and release negativity and anxious thoughts from our lives. 

Agates are lovely stones to have around where you sit, work or live. Their many colours and patterns make them attractive stones and they make wonderful ornaments if simply placed on a windowsill or desk. Agates can come in a whole variety of patterns and colours. Agates with exceptionally bright colours such as bright turquoise and vibrant pink have usually been dyed. 

Amethyst - Violet
Amethyst moderates excesses and conquers superficiality by granting a more ample and objective vision. It brings wisdom, constancy, and seriousness.

The wonderfully coloured amethyst, with its variety of shades of purple reminds us of the spiritual thread that runs through our life and can be used as a tool to aid spiritual awakening and intuition. Amethyst can bring a calming influence and therefore be of great help in times of change. It's excellent to hold or have by you when you're practicing meditation and when placed in a room it can help absorb negativity. Placed under the pillow it may help you sleep better.

Blue Howlite - Blue
Blue howlite helps to organise ideas and make rational decisions. It sustains students in their studies and protects travellers.

The energy of howlite is calming and relaxing and many use it as an aid to meditation or to hold or have under their pillow to aid them when they are trying to sleep. It is also said to help emotional expression and to help develop patience. Due to the soft nature of this stone, we would not recommend cleansing this with water.

Sodalite - Blue and white
This stone appeases anger and excesses, subduing the ego. It makes us more cautious and concrete on social occasions.

Sodalite is so named due to its sodium content. Its appearance has some similarities to lapis lazuli but anyone familiar with both can usually distinguish between them. 

The gentle spiritual energy of sodalite promotes the need to become more complete and unify the sub-conscious, conscious and higher consciousness. When we feel more complete in this way we are able to trust more the subtle things we feel - things that can easily be dismissed as 'just a feeling'. With this new connection fears about spiritual matters can resolve themselves.

Cleansing Your Crystals
Don't forget to regularly charge and cleanse your crystals. Cleansing can be as simple as running the crystal under the cold tap while visualising the negativity being washed away. And a night on your windowsill in the moonlight (full moon is particularly effective) will give your crystal an energy boost. Sunlight works just as well, but some crystals may fade.
