White Sage is a plant predominantly found along the coastline of South California. In its herb form it is generally used for cleansing and purifying. The properties of White Sage are ideal for those who wish to build a closer spiritual connection with the sacred world.
Please note these bars are more or less unscented, but we do not label them as such as they do include natural herbs, so they may be a very mild fragrance in some bars.
Each bar has a brown/golden tint to it that varies between each bar and has been sprinkled with White Sage.
They Say: Our soaps are all natural, for a true cleansing experience, physically and spiritually. No tallow (animal fat), no urea (urine), or other bizarre ingredients; just clean vegetable oils and natural herbs.
Extra Information: Each bar comes individually wrapped.
Size of Bar: Each bar may vary very slightly, however they are roughly 9.5cm in length, 4.6cm width and 2.5cm depth.

This is an interesting idea! A natural soap that includes Californian white sage. White sage is a herb that is often burnt to create smoke for cleansing people, places or objects. Also white sage can be made into sprays and oils and similarly used for cleansing energies and auras. I love white sage.
This soap is made from natural vegetable oils and natural herbs. It lathers really well, even in hard water. And hence might wear a bit faster than many mainstream soaps. But I like that.
The white sage fragrance is very subtle in the bar before you use it. I could only just pick it up even though I am familiar with it.
As you hold the soap up to the light it has a wonderful golden brown colour and you can see through it. You will also be able to see little flecks of white sage visually suspended mid soap! When you start to use the soap you can feel the little flecks, but they wash off easily. It is only when you start using the soap, which releases the little flecks that more of the white sage fragrance comes out.
I love the idea of bathing in a cleanser of auras and energies. I am not saying you will use this soap and all the troubles will be washed away. But when using it I did imagine that is exactly what was going on. So it brought me to thinking that I was washing off negative influences. Those who also like white sage and smudging may be similarly drawn to this soap. But I think it will find further appeal beyond this group of people.
As a soap it looks hand made in both its packaging and also in the cut of the block of soap. This I am quite happy with as I like the idea of my soap being hand made. I found if left on the side in a damp environment (like in a shower cubicle) that the soap did soften over time if not used. So I would say this soap, although you might want to save it for special occasions, might respond better if used more regularly. Or needs to be put somewhere a bit drier in between uses.
But all in all, a nice natural soap that has no additives. And I will go ahead and use the full bar!
