They say: As the 'Voice of the Spirit World', Rosemary Altea has already enriched thousands of lives. Here, in her internationally bestselling true story, The Eagle and the Rose, and with the help of Grey Eagle, her spirit guide and constant companion, she shows you how she contacts the spirit world, predicts future events and performs 'spirit rescues' for those unable to continue their journey. Most of all, she illuminates a plane of infinite goodness, light and wonder beyond everyday life - a plane which is accessible to us all.

Rosemary Altea
Rosemary Altea is an internationally renowned spiritual medium and author. She was born in England and first heard voices when she was a young girl. However, talking about hearing voices wasn’t deemed acceptable and she was forced to keep quiet about it.

Rosemary Altea began to nurture her spiritual gifts properly when she was in her mid 30s, in the 1970s, after going through a difficult time in her life. She became well acquainted with her spirit guide, Grey Eagle, and claims that it was Grey Eagle who encouraged her to publish her first book, The Eagle and The Rose. The book was first published in the US, with countries soon following, and became a bestseller.

She went on to write a number of other books, many also becoming bestsellers, including Soul Signs: An Elemental Guide to Your Spiritual Destiny, A Matter of Life and Death and You Own the Power.

As well as books, Rosemary Altea has produced a number of CDs, including a series of four healing and meditation CDs.

She has now been working professionally as a spiritual medium for over 20 years and has appeared on a wide variety of television shows, such as The Oprah Show and Larry King Live.

Rosemary also founded the RAHEF organisation, which stands for the Rosemary Altea Healing and Educational Foundation. It’s based in the US and is a charitable organisation; the UK counterpart is the RAHH. Together, the two organisations offer spiritual and faith healing.

    Great Variety of Information

Posted by Vernon Marshall on 28th Feb 2007

This is the book that describes the beginning of the stunning career of Rosemary Altea, a remarkable medium and healer. Rosemary is one of the most well known and respected medium in this country today. What many of her admirers will not have known before this book was published, however, is the account of her somewhat sad life leading up to the discovery of her skills. This book is about a fascinating voyage of discovery. It gives details of some extraordinary encounters with Spirit.

What I liked about the book was the variety of experiences detailed. One chapter deals specifically with case studies. There is also a variety of spiritual work undertaken. As well as the usual conveying of messages from the spirit world, the writer talks about how she is able to predict certain events due in the future. Furthermore she deals with how she helps lost souls who are stuck on their journey home.

Another major aspect of Rosemary Altea’s work is her healing and the book deals with how she discovered that skill and what led her to set up her own healing organisation, a body now fully recognised by UK Healers.

This is not a profound book nor a deeply philosophical work. It is a demonstration of how one woman’s life purpose was revealed to her out of the depths and how she has brought optimism and a sense of joy to thousands.
