9 crystal discs (Each about 3.5cm diameter / Just over an inch and a quarter) with a velvet bag.

The nine crystals are:

Quartz crystal - Clarity, higher purpose
Amethyst - Spiritual, calming
Sodalite - Unifying, spiritual trust
Green Aventurine - Companion for the pioneering spirit
Yellow Aventurine - Clearing, healing, energy amplifier
Carnelian - New life, stimulates change
Red Jasper - Grounding, stabilizing, healing
Hematite - Calming, balancing, grounding
Rose Quartz - Love and calm

The bag is velvet on the inside and a satin on the inside.
Please note the shade and colouring of the crystals will vary slightly from set to set although quality is constant.

"The list of crystals contained in this set is listed above in the spec. We have put in 9 crystals instead of the normal 7 as some people like to interchange their crystals. For example traditionally the heart chakra is green (for which we use green aventurine in this set). But some like to use the pink of rose quartz as an alternative as pink and rose quartz is also associated with the heart. Likewise you could use either hematite or red jasper for the base chakra.

Of course these crystals can have many uses beyond working with chakras. They can also be used as crystals to hold on different days depending on your mood. Or can be used in other aspects of energy work or crystal healing." - Brett

The chakras are major energetic centres within the human body. There are seven in total. They are:

Crown (violet-white)
Forehead (indigo)
Throat (Blue)
Heart (Green)
Solar plexus (Yellow)
Sacral (Orange)
Base (Red)

When our chakras are healthy and glowing strongly we feel good. By having about us or using chakra products, wearing chakra jewellery or using chakra stones in healing we are giving focus to this state of balance.
