Natural Beauty by Karen Gilbert
35 Step-by-Step Projects for Homemade Beauty
About the Book
Most of us use a huge variety of beauty products on our skin and hair every day, but the majority of these products contain a variety of chemicals and toxins that can be harmful to you and to the environment. Karen Gilbert shows you how to create your own beauty essentials with these pampering recipes for face, body and hair. Learn how to make a neroli hydrating spritz, macadamia and jojoba moisturiser, mango and lime body butter, lemon and tea tree foot balm, bergamot and grapefruit wake-up wash, cocoa butter lip balm and more - the hardest part is choosing which of the pampering projects to try first!
Each recipe has clear step-by-step photographs to guide you, comprehensive lists of equipment and ingredients, as well as easy-to-follow instructions. With numerous variations to try, you'll wonder why you ever bought factory-made beauty products in the first place!
