Environmental Information
Wood-free paper is paper that is free of mechanically ground wood fibres. It still technically contains wood pulp, but is processed so that the wood components are removed. Other fillers can sometimes be added such as the cellulose fibres from different plant materials or cotton rags etc. Wood-free paper is often used because it doesn’t suffer from the same kind of discolouration that happens over time with regular paper.
About the Author
A dedicated holistic wellness advocate and Reiki practitioner, Teresa Salerno is the founder of kokoro ki healing, a healing space for those wanting to live a more intuitive and conscious life. Her studies in counselling, health and fitness support her passion for helping people develop and implement a balanced and holistic approach to authentic living. Teresa is also a yoga instructor who has practised on and off the mat since completing her training at the Australian College of Classical Yoga in 2004.
About the Artist
Drawing and painting have always been Christine Karron’s life. She has been a freelance artist for over 20 years and loves to create fantasy illustrations and characters with a whimsical narrative, sometimes with a touch of humour. Nature, music and people from her surroundings influence Christine’s artwork, as do precious memories from her childhood, such as picking flowers and berries in forests so deep, like fairytales. Christine’s artwork is featured in children’s books, colouring books, oracle decks and more.
