On The Cover
Welcome to the wonderful adventures of Little White Feather, a small Native American boy who lives in a tipi in a place called the Great Plains. Find out how he bravely overcomes his fears and rescues the injured wolf, discover the name of his pony and the special secret he learned about Planet Earth when he flew high into the stars on the back of an eagle...

Way up above you, an eagle is flying... his wings make a shadow above you... between you and the sun... he looks so strong and powerful and you wish the dragonfly could fly you up even higher so you can reach him... as if by magic... you find yourself on the back of the eagle who says:

"In Old Grandmother's stories you just have to THINK about what you want and it happens".

The eagle flies higher and higher... as you fly through the puffy white clouds and way up into the stars... you feel so strong and happy... the moon is shining brightly and you are surrounded by millions and millions of bright, sparking stars.

    Enchanting

Posted by Anne Marie, UK on 15th Apr 2010

I absolutely love this CD it is the story of Little White feather, a native american child, who lives in the great plain in a tippi and is given a little pony when his sister is born. His adventure starts when he rescues a wolf injured on a rock and who shows him where the buffalos are staying and when coming back home is considered a very brave little boy. He dreams about flying on his pony, discovers Earth through an eagle and is told to look after all the animals. The author Jan Yoxall reads the story herself and has the most amazing soft voice, just like an angel. She transports you far away with Little white feather in the sky, through the fluffy clouds and the shining stars and gives a gentle meditation at the end. What a wonderful story for young children to teach how to respect the Earth which is needed so much - Just enchanting!...
