We sell our fossilised wood tumblestones both singly and also in 250 gram bags. Buying by the bag offers a way to be more cost effective if you need more than one stone of a certain type. Typically the bags contain 15-20 tumblestones but this can occasionally be slightly less or slightly more depending on the sizes of stones.
Please also note that some crystals such as hematite are very dense while others like red jasper are less dense. So comparing these two bags side by side will mean the red jasper bag would be slightly bigger but they would both weigh the same.
The quality of the tumblestones in the bag is the same quality as those sold singly. The photo above is shown only as an example. The bag you receive will have its own unique stones and characteristics.
Dictionary Terms Explained
- Problem solving, connection to the past
Fossilised wood is wood that has literally been transformed into stone by minerals infiltrating gaps and cellular spaces in the wood. The stone will have some of the qualities of whatever crystals are used in its formation but also the ancientness and visual impression of wood formed millions of years ago can help symbolically to connect us to ancient rituals and to our ancestors and previous lives. Fossilised wood can be good to hold when we are 'worrying' because it reminds us of how old and large the universe really is and then makes our problems seem so small. This may then help our determination to overcome these problems.
