I've been a fan of black tourmaline for years and used to buy the elasticated bracelets both for friends and myself. But they tend to break easily and also look a bit obvious/a bit too hippy. By comparison, this necklace is very robust, and I love it's length and weight - it looks more like fashion jewellery/an accessory piece. It'd make a great gift for anyone who's down/needs grounding or feels under attack.
By Anna The stones are beautiful, but the necklace is not elasticated (sort of assumed it would be), so it's very long and VERY heavy!It could do with being shorter, perhaps with a clasp, or on elastic. It's okay if you are a hippy, but if you prefer a more subtle look, I can't see any way that this can be worn! I'm going to snip it and rethread the beads.
