By Brett Almond View ProfileThe Spiral Tarot takes many of the depictions from the Rider Waite Tarot deck as a starting point and gives them greater detail through more gloriously colourful and detailed paintings. For example, the Rider Waite deck uses the symbol of black trees in the background of the Knight of swords to depict the potential for sorrow, but in this deck, the knight has the pain and determination evident in his graphic expression. I would suggest this to be a deck of powerful images that are full of life and provide a clear access point to the archetypal energies that each card represents.
