On back of card: When his brother was killed in battle, Brian Boru of Dal Cais made himself King of Munster and was the first ruler who could claim to be High King of all of Ireland. Brian Boru played the harp, and founded the Bardic order. The 30 string harp, which has become the national symbol of Ireland, almost certainly di not belong to Brian Boru. It is dated somewhere around the 15th Century.
