The beasts of the field and forest, the birds in the air and the fishes in the oceans and rivers were all significant to the Celts, not only in terms of basic survival, but also for their highly developed spiritual life. It's not surprising that the depictions of nature became an intrinsic part of the complex designs of the Celtic art.

Courtney Davis is recognised as being one of the world’s leading exponents of Celtic art. He was born in South Wales in 1946 and has been creating Celtic art for over 40 years. Courtney davis has built up a worldwide reputationas the artist who has reawakened the visions and exquisite artwork of the ancient Celtic Illuminati. He is widely recognised for bringing to life mystic symbolism, myths and imagery of Celtic art in a contemporary style that is uniquely his own. Courtney has exhibited his art in the USA across Europe and in Japan.

His work been licensed worldwide by Barnes and Noble, Monster Beverage and Mountain Shirts and Courtney is, currently finishing his 50th book for Chimera Press.
