Dimensions: Available in two different sizings, that are based upon the overall height. You can see from the two hand shots the approximate sizes. Width will vary slightly.

"A carefully polished item. Both sizes are nice. The finish is smooth to the touch. The edges of the spiral you will find do have the odd very minor natural indentations due to the nature of the crystal. These should be seen as a natural feature of the product.

The horn is solid throughout and contains all sorts of patterns under the surface as is the nature of selenite. They are all hand carved." - Brett

Selenite (12) - Spirituality, clarity, cleansing
Selenite is a crystallised form of gypsum and comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, varying considerably in colour. It is a soft and very fragile crystal and is formed on Salt Plains, about two feet below the surface.

The energy of all colours and forms of selenite promote a feeling of spirituality and encourage connection with the divine. Selenite has a gentle and fine vibration is often associated with opening up the crown chakra and also accessing angelic consciousness. Larger pieces of selenite can be placed in your home to help bring peace and divine influences. Some people use selenite as a tool when accessing past life material or for use when meditating.

The clear form of the crystal, in particular, represents clarity, reminding us to aim to think clearly and without prejudice.

Note: be careful if you cleanse selenite as, although some contact with water is okay, it's a soft mineral and could deteriorate if left in water for long periods of time.

Unicorn (7) - Purity, divine connection
One of the earliest references to a unicorn is about 5000 years ago in ancient China when it was written that a unicorn appeared to the emperor Huang Di as a sign that his reign would be long and peaceful. Also in China it is recorded that a unicorn brought a piece of jade to the mother of the renowned prophet Confucius and laid its head on her lap. She took that as a good omen for what was to come.

Around about the fourth and fifth centuries, merchants would come back from India with stories of a horse with a white body, a red head, bluish eyes and with a horn on its forehead about a cubit long. Sightings of unicorns have also been attributed to Julius Caesar and to Alexander the Great, and there are several clear references to them in the Old Testament of the Bible.

The unicorn represents purity and a Christ-like connection to God and the divine. Although a gentle creature, its horn could be used to protect if needed. So as a symbol it represents your desire to be closer to God, to work towards greater clarity in yourself, and to be protected while doing this.

Sacred spiral (6) - Life, growth, transformation
The sacred spiral is an ancient symbol of growth and evolution. It dates back many centuries and has been used by the ancient Celts, Greeks and as part of Wiccan beliefs.

As a Wiccan symbol it represents divine energy and the cycle of life - of death and rebirth. When drawn clockwise, it's said to bring things towards you, and when drawn anti-clockwise, it pushes negative energies away from you. A spiral dance is also often used to celebrate and represent the powers of the symbol.
