Reviews - rated 5/5 based on customer reviews4 out of 5 By Len LeaperRobin Sharma is an American who speaks about personal leadership and life management. His book is full of guidance towards living life in new and exciting ways.
This book begins with an everyday scenario of a road accident. Quickly things develop and Jack Valentine discovers something very special has been arranged for him. He bravely embarks on a journey during which he meets, one after the other, The Saint, The Surfer and The CEO. These people look after him and each becomes an adviser. Jack learns their understanding and views about personal issues, life and relationships. These lessons are in the form of dialogue and each lesson is a part of the whole, it connects and ties with other teachings. Thus the revelations are for the reader also. As life lessons they encourage insight, development and self-discovery. The story moves along well, the teachers are very different and the lessons interlink. There is considerable wisdom and advice in this book, the words within are valuable and reading will encourage and enlighten. Throughout we are drawn towards clarity and vision, this book is a treasure house of truth.5 out of 5 By James Broomhall, BirminghamA truely amazing book which carries the most profound wisdom and adresses it with simple logic that we can reinact into our everyday lives. Another great characteristic that the book offers is the characters which it beholds,(as usually spiritually orientated books revolve around facts and bore me to death). This is definately suited to all ages and a great read to those who can embrace its knowledge without being cynical.
