This CD is a live recording of a seminar led by inspirational speaker and teacher, Louise L. Hay, focusing on the art of receiving prosperity.
Louise describes how prosperity can be experienced in a variety of different ways and how it’s possible to use the power of your mind to attract prosperity into your life. However, there are sometimes barriers to overcome first, mostly barriers that are self-imposed – often unconsciously – and associated with beliefs about wealth. To help you see what you might be afraid of when it comes to money, there’s a mirror test to try out.
As the recording is from a live seminar, it’s interesting to hear the answers and queries from people in the audience, relating to the mirror test and many other aspects of receiving prosperity. Plus, there are audience questions, which Louise answers, and you may find that you relate to one or more of them. Louise provides some valuable information about how problems can be overcome and some practical affirmations that you can use to gain more prosperity in your life.
The only downside of it being a live recording is that you do get background noise, such as occasional coughs, sneezes, laughter and other noises. On the whole this is balanced out by the sense of being part of the audience that you gain, but it could be annoying if you don’t like hearing background distractions.
The art of receiving prosperity is a hot topic and the CD provides some interesting food for thought on this issue. It’s likely to be of interest to anyone wanting to learn more about being prosperous – both in wealth, health, relationships and careers – and learn accessible techniques that you can put straight into action.

I already own a book and CD from Louise Hay but I really like this one as it is a recorded workshop and you feel like like if you are participating and the atmosphere is really good. Louise is such a good speaker that the audience is fascinated by her. She starts by telling us that they are many kind of prosperity: Health, Time, Finance, Love but she really concentrates on finance. If we only think of debts and bills the universe is going to give us more of it and we need to convince ourselves that money is only a fluid commidity, and not give it such an importance. It is like the air we breathe, there always will be enough of it for us. There is also plenty of food in the world and it is only the lack of love that stop the third world people from having enough. Louise went on saying that we should make daily affirmations such as: I am receptive to all good, my income is constantly increasing and we must love ourselves and think that we deserve the best. Louise then asked to do the mirror test and everyone had to look at themselves and see what they are afraid of about money. She asked several people and talked about their fears. It was interesting to know that a lot of people have similar fears and that we are not alone. It is really a handy CD to have at hand when you are in need of money and I do have it in my car and listen to it on the way to work when I have a doubting moment!
