We say: This is a made from 100% dupion silk, secured with tight stitching at the edges. The colours are superb - bright, clear and rich. The material has a good weight to it. Silk is a natural fibre. Silk fabrics may therefore contain minor variations and irregularities that are characteristic of fine silk yarn and should in no way be treated as defects.

This smaller silk cloth has been designed to be used with rune readings, Tarot Card or Angel Card spreads. The set of angel cards used in the photo are the Angel Meditation cards. This silk square will also be suitable for the Angel Power cards and the original Angel cards but will probably be too small for the Healing with the Angels cards by Doreen Virtue, although the Healing with the Angels cards will fit three across the width.

Purple (19) - Spirituality, wisdom, psychic development
Purple is traditionally a royal colour and sign of dignity. Garments made of purple cloth were typically worn by high priests, emperors, military leaders and magistrates in the Roman times, as well as having a strong association with Osiris, and Ancient Egyptian god.

The colour gained its superior authority as dying cloth purple was an expensive process, involving collecting secretions from two types of molluscs, so only the wealthiest people in society could afford to have clothes made of the colour.

In terms of magic, purple is linked to the spiritual dimension, psychic development, wisdom and spiritual strength. People often use the colour, whether through meditation or visualisation, to try and increase their spiritual development and access higher states. Likewise, in the chakra system, purple / violet relates to the crown chakra.
