Dimensions Om essential oil soapstone burner about 8.5 cms (3.3 inches) tall. Width of bowl for putting in oil 6.5 cms (2.5 inches). This burner is smaller than our square sun soapstone oil burner.
We say: To use you would normally place some water in the top bowl, light the candle beneath (tea light) and then tip a few drops of your chosen essential oil onto the water. Then as the water heats, the fragrance of the oils is released gently into the room.
An om symbol is engraved twice
around the main body of the oil burner, as can be seen in the photos above.
Please Note: Never put essential oils directly into the bowl without water as this will cause overheating and probably burn the oils.

Om, or AUM, is both a sound and a symbol. Hindus regard OM as a sacred symbol of spiritual knowledge and the sound is used as a mantra in chanting and meditation.
The three sounds in Om / AUM are said to represent the states of waking, dreaming and sleeping. The silence that surrounds Om represents the absolute bliss state of Turiya, where the self recognises their identity with the supreme.

* The curve coming off the two above states represents the dream state.

By lauren trigg Just got my order (next day )as always its fab wanted the large oil burner but it was out of stock so i went for the Om medium one its so nice, the dish that sits on the top is very deep so you dont have to keep filling it glad i got it now will be getting another one next order.
