This is an exceptional CD offered by Stephen Rhodes. I am a healer and love to find fully relaxing music for those I work with and this really is such. For the most part the piano gifts us a beautifully melodic lead with gentle accompaniments by soft strings and perfect sensitive counterplay.
Divine Surrender as Prayer Garden is a little different and manages to bring much of breadth and majesty from sustained and intertwined background chords that rise and fall with width and gentle strength. This is highly evocative and peaceful music which I find unfolds as a constant and with perfection. Throughout the piano sings effortlessly and I find much solace and comfort in this. This offering is a perfect addition to anyone wanting fully soothing and relaxing music to listen to either for themselves or perhaps to use for clients when healing. I do feel that amongst so many healing CD’s this one stands apart and is a welcome addition to any collection.
