We say: This is a sequel to Doreen Virtue's book Angel Therapy but as she explains this is a stand alone book and you do not have to have read the other book. Messages from your Angels book should not be confused with the cards. It is perhaps a little confusing to have the same name for both. This is not a book to accompany the cards, as the cards have their own fairly detailed booklet anyway. This is a separate project. In this book there is much advice from the angels on many aspects of our lives. In Part I there are about 2 pages dedicated per topic on a variety of 34 subjects such as child conception, guilt, sexuality, marriage, job burnout, soulmates, sleep, stress, prayer, emotional healing etc. Part II contains messages from the Archangels Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel and Part III contains a brief message from the nature angels. Part IV comprises of a series of 19 questions such as 'How can I better hear my angels?', 'How can I discover what my life purpose is?', 'What happens if someone commits suicide?' and 'Why am I tired so often?' This section covers about 30 pages. The last Part, Part V, represents about half of the book and is entitled 'Communing with your angels' and contains practical and inspirational advice on how to make contact with them. This is a really hopeful book, and a practical book for those who wish to be more aware of angels and spiritual beings. It will also give comfort to those that are worried about death or who have lost a child or relative as it covers these areas quite thoroughly, basically the message being you only die when it is your time to go. You cannot die by accident. One of the questions I wanted an answer to was how did she get the advice she is giving through her book. So here is a brief extract from the introduction:

'Just like Angel Therapy, Messages from your Angels was dictated to me by the angels after I prayed for their guidance. They chose the topics for Part I of this book, and they told me exactly what to write. Each chapter contains material that surprised me when I read it, as this was new information to me in most cases. The angels' logic is amazingly clear, yet refreshingly different from the mortal mind. So, once again, I learned a great deal as the scribe of the angels' communications. In Part II, I asked the angels a number of questions - many of which I'm frequently asked by audience members, and some that are queries of my own. In this Part, the angels started to respond to me as soon as I mentally asked them a particular question, but sometimes their timing was a little inconvenient for me. For instance, one time when I was jogging through oceanfront park in La Jolla, California, I decided to ask the angels about the nature of and purpose of dolphins.
