Reviews - rated 5/5 based on customer reviews5 out of 5 By Vernon MarshallI must admit that I am a sucker for oracle decks, tarot cards, and any other kind of divinatory device. Most oracle decks, however, are complicated and fussy. The laying out of cards can be time consuming and the interpretation contingent upon a number of factors. This set of cards, on the contrary, is a very easy to use collection based on a simple astrological premise. There are only 36 cards, 12 cards in each of three decks, Planets, Signs and Houses. Arranging the cards to answer a question is easy, simply shuffling each deck and pulling out one card from each. Reading them is similarly easy as there are words on each card that make for the creation of basic sentences. There is even a way of finding a simple Yes or No once a clearer understanding is acquired as to the philosophy involved in the use of the cards.
There is a lot of information in the book about the various astrological signs and their meanings it is still possible to get a lot of satisfaction from a simpler use of the decks. What the writer is keen to suggest in the book is that the intention behind the use of the cards is to have fun. That is a refreshing and truthful declaration that contrasts with the philosophical and serious minded approaches found in similar material. If you want some indications of how your life is going and do not want to spend many hours trying to come to terms with complex principles and methodology then these cards will suit you well. Within a few minutes of opening the package you can be gaining some insight into the progress of your life.
