"This easy to follow DVD is a must for all Indian Head Massage enthusiasts. Jill's relaxing manner of speech guides you through the understanding and performing of this wonderful treatment. Her excellent instructions and demonstrations are in such a way that I felt relaxed and at ease just watching! She takes you through each stage and then demonstrates each session.
After watching this DVD it has given me the confidence to go ahead and practise and perform this technique. A DVD well worth having on your shelf." - Jane

By Anne Marie Welch View ProfileJill Russell demonstrates very well the Indian Head Massage in this DVD. I have taken exams on it a few years ago and wanted to have a refresher. I was also interested to see if it had similar movements, as head massages vary from person to person and have never met someone who treated the same way until Jill. She guides us step by step explaining slowly and demonstrating at the same time. The massage is divided in 5 sections: the upper back, upper arms, neck, scalp and finally the face, the treatment last about 45 mns. Jill has a pleasant voice which is easy to listen to and is a good tutor. I really enjoyed to watch this DVD and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn. Indian Head Massage is very good for releasing tension in your neck, head and face and is very helpful for sinus problems.

By Vernon Marshall View ProfileI had never contemplated learning the skills of Indian Head Massage until I watched this DVD. Watching it gave me the confidence to try it on my family and, I am glad to say, it has proved to be a desired treatment in our household. This is not to say that it is necessarily easy. It takes concentration, patience and practice. I would not have given it a try, however, if I had had to learn it from a book. I would certainly not have pushed myself to enrol on a course.
Watching this DVD is like being present at a professional treatment. It is far more intricate and far-reaching than I expected. Watching it several times, though, enables one to absorb the information and move towards a reasonable state of confidence. The whole thing has been put together very well. There is a steady progression throughout the parts of the body, with a recap of the treatments along the way. Everything is clearly illustrated and listed.
I was also appreciative of the bonus material. There is a very helpful feature about the use of oils with Indian Head Massage that is very important if oils are intended to be used. Oils can be dangerous if used incorrectly and this section of the DVD makes this point whilst detailing how the use of oils can be carried out effectively. The other bonus features include a profile of Jill Russell the Indian Head Masseur featured on the DVD and more of the music that is used as a background to the material.
Overall, this is a useful DVD for anyone coming to Indian Head Massage for the first time. Within a short space of time you can be using it with your friends and family.
