By Vernon Marshall View ProfileHaving read so many of Doreen Virtue’s books I did wonder what else she could say about angels. Well, the material is not new. It has been drawn from her best-seller Messages from Your Angels as well as from her workshops. This book, however, is no worse because of it. It is succinct and direct and is handy for someone who wants to develop their own angel communication without too much background material. The book is also a text book for the Angel Therapy Practitioner Course, run by Virtue. The book does have a distinct approach and, especially for Virtue fans, it is a treat. It has fewer than 200 pages, it is A5 size, and the writing is fairly large. The size of the book lends itself to be carried around in a pocket or handbag. There are nine chapters, all of which are broken down into subsections, many of which offer bullet-pointed lists. It is just so easy to read! The book has little theory in it or background material. Chapters deal with the “how” of communication, how to feel the angels, how to hear the angels, even how to see the angels. There are important sections on how to develop an ability to separate out the true communication from the false, what is a divine contact and what is an offering of the ego.
I would never have believed I could be a fan of Virtue’s work. Every book I read of hers, however, surprises me. She has substance. Her academic background has made her work analytical and at times critical. That is why I admire her so much. Everything she works on is detailed, clearly well researched, and convincing. I am delighted to have this little book in my collection.
