Caroline Myss (4) - Medical intuitive, pesonal development, energy anatomy
American born Caroline Myss is a medical intuitive, mystic and author of a number of bestselling books, including Why People Don’t Heal and How They Can, Sacred Contracts: Awakening Your Divine Potential and Anatomy of the Spirit: The Seven Stages of Power and Healing.
She initially started her career as a journalist and, after completing a Master’s degree in theology, she co-founded Stillpoint Publishing, where she led the editorial department. There she was responsible for producing books in the fields of holistic health and human consciousness.
Caroline’s work as a medical intuitive began when she teamed up with C. Norman Shealy, a neurosurgeon, and began to do health readings of his patients. All the readings were done via a telephone and by only knowing the name and age of the patient, Caroline was able to produce profiles of their physical, psychological, emotional and family history.

Her research led her own to develop the discipline of energy anatomy, which links emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual stress with diseases. Her work in this area eventually led to the publication of the book, The Creation of Health, in conjunction with Norman Shealy.
Caroline and Norman developed an educational program to teach the principles of the Science of Medical Intuition and also fund research into the field. In 2003, Caroline created CMED (Caroline Myss Education), an educational institute with courses relating to personal development.
Caroline’s books have been translated into numerous languages and are of universal appeal. She continues to teach workshops, run seminars, speak on radio shows and produce audio recordings.

By Susan Daniels View ProfileThe first thing that struck me about these cards was the colourful and vibrant artwork, which in itself is enough to perk you up. There are a total of fifty cards, each with an illustration and healing guidance on one side, and a more detailed explanation on the other. They cover a range of topics from how you think to how you eat, with the intention of helping you to achieve a balance spiritually, psychologically and physically. Included is a booklet which briefly explains where each affirmation is taken from, as each one is drawn from a wide variety of religions and spiritual traditions: Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism and Native American to name a few.
The idea is to select a card each day (or whenever you need to) and endeavor to put the healing guidance on it into practice. The healing statements give you just enough information to be able to interpret them into your life on a personal level. I liked these cards and was pleasantly surprised at how attempting to live my day by them, changed my perception of certain situations and woke me up in a world where its easy to get swept along blindly.
