The word “adaptation” should be noted because the material is arranged differently and there is not the same ease as there is with reading the material in book form. On the other hand, we have the great woman herself speaking, as if speaking to the listener personally. There is something very effective when one hears the author speaking with their own voice. With Louise Hay, someone I would in my more rational moments perhaps dismiss, there is a conviction and trust in her voice that has brought me into being something of a fan, reluctant though I may be. This study course includes four sections of half an hour each. The work involved is not difficult and can be absorbed very quickly.
What I like about Louise Hay is that she sees everything as simple. There is nothing complex in what she says but what she sees in life is something very positive as far as potential is involved. This study course is very uplifting. If you have read the book, then these CDs are not a waste of money. There is something stronger about hearing those words from the book actually being spoken. For those who have not read the book then these CDs are a good introduction to the thinking of Louise Hay and others in the New Thought tradition.
I took a long time in deciding what I felt about Louise Hay. Now, I have no hesitation in saying that the world has become a better place because of her. I love this CD set and I can heartily recommend it to anyone who wants to live more fruitfully and more meaningfully.
