They say: The Green Man is an ancient and popular icon of the natural world - the very spirit of nature. Here in this pack, his tree wisdom and the Celtic Ogam tree alphabet combine to bring you an oracle of great power. In this new edition, the Green Man himself is now present in the form of a beautiful foliate head to display inside or outside your home.
The 25 stunning tree oracle cards depict each of the trees that make up the ancient Celtic alphabet. The Green Man is present in every image - sometimes obvious, sometimes hidden - inviting you to enter his world. In the accompanying book, you will discover tree lore, myths and symbolism, and you will learn the innermost meaning of each card, and how this age-old knowledge can guide you in your life today.
The book now includes an extra practical chapter plus an extensive international gazetter to help you discover the Green Man wherever you roam.
John Matthews is an internationally acclaimed expert on the Green Man, Druidry and Celtic Traditions. He gives seminars and workshops all over the world and, together with his wife Caitlin, is the author of over sixty books.
Will Worthington is a highly respected artist whose previous works include the successful Druid Animal Oracle. A practising Druid, he draws upon the natural world for inspiration, and describes the Green Man as an important personal archetype.

By Cate Gardner View ProfileThis set is a must for anyone with an interest in the indigenous ancient religions of these islands or for those who just like looking at beautiful and easily accessible art. It is also a reliable divination deck of only 25 cards, especially suitable for novices who may find the idea of 156 meanings for a 78 card Tarot deck a little daunting at first. The book gives details of 3 different spreads, a three card, 5 card and 7 card, so you can get to grips with them straight away. Having said this, I've been reading Tarot for over 30 years – yet I am continually drawn back to this deck because Will Worthington's illustrations stir my soul with their dark intricacies. As the 128 page riveting book declares: this is 'Ancient wisdom from the greenwood', and it's an excellent source of knowledge by the specialist, John Matthews, which connects the cards with the Ogam alphabet. Therefore this set would be welcomed by anyone learning the Runes too. Even children can enjoy the fun of finding the Green Man in each card.
What more can I say, except this set is a 'Must Have' for novice and adept alike, I simply cannot fault them.
