Large Goddess Holding Amethyst Pendant (sterling silver)
Goddess (5) - Spiritual, feminine, re-connection
A goddess is a female being who's believed to be the source of life and being. Cultures worldwide worshipped goddesses from early times, although the Christianity movement in particular fazed it out. Today, however, there's a rising popularity in re-kindling connections with goddesses, especially from women who feel traditional religions lack the extra perspective and guidance they seek.
Celebrating goddesses offers a way of embracing and rediscovering female characteristics, of celebrating feminine abilities, thoughts and capabilities. It offers a form of spirituality that means something to women and celebrates their unique power and self-worth. Each goddess has her own characteristics and linking to the one that seems appropriate to you is said to help enhance those particularly qualities in your own life.
Examples of goddesses, their culture of origin, and their characteristics:

Ceridwen: Celtic; abundance, death, rebirth
Diana: Roman; nature, independence, reaching goals
Freya: Norse; grounded, fertility, opportunities
Hathor: Egyptian; beauty, power, wisdom, abundance, fertility
Isis: Egyptian; mysticism, self-assurance, intuition
Kali: Hindu; courage, fearlessness, releasing negativity

Sacred spiral (6) - Life, growth, transformation
The sacred spiral is an ancient symbol of growth and evolution. It dates back many centuries and has been used by the ancient Celts, Greeks and as part of Wiccan beliefs.
As a Wiccan symbol it represents divine energy and the cycle of life - of death and rebirth. When drawn clockwise, it's said to bring things towards you, and when drawn anti-clockwise, it pushes negative energies away from you. A spiral dance is also often used to celebrate and represent the powers of the symbol.
Amethyst (53) - Spiritual, calming
The wonderfully coloured amethyst, with its variety of shades of purple reminds us of the spiritual thread that runs through our life and can be used as a tool to aid spiritual awakening and intuition. Amethyst can bring a calming influence and therefore be of great help in times of change. It's excellent to hold or have by you when you're practicing meditation and when placed in a room it can help absorb negativity. Placed under the pillow it may help you sleep better.

By Lisa, Liverpool I got this as a birthday present and it is absolutely beautiful. The finish is excellent, the amethyst (my birthstone) is gorgeous and it goes with anything - everyone who sees it comments on how lovely it is. It was also a very fast delivery - can't fault the pendant or the service!
