The Tarot of Gemstones and Crystals - CARDS

There are literally hundreds and hundreds of Tarot card decks on the market. At Holisticshop we prefer not to take on decks that are badly thought out, lack imagination or seem to be made for the sake of producing yet another Tarot deck with some 'amazing' new theme. So I would expect a Tarot featuring exclusively photographs of crystals and minerals in various states to fall at least into one of those categories!

I ordered a range of single packs to assess which we should take on next. I must admit that I did not imagine we would be taking this pack on. But on spending some time with it and doing a couple of readings I came to quite respect it.

Divination is a feeling art, something that changes from spread to spread. We need to use words like 'feels like, reminds me of etc.' and I feel this deck puts you right in that place. It is clear a lot of time and effort has gone into creating these photos. When reading I found myself interpreting the feelings of the cards quite quickly and only really looking at what each card represented afterwards. I did a reading for myself and found it very refreshing and enriching.

I am not saying these cards are for everyone. I would say they are only for you if you feel inspired by them and feel you would like to work in this way. I think they would make an excellent second deck for many because of their insistence on using your intuition and because they push you into trusting more that you really are able to do this art! So I would have to give a rather surprising endorsement of the gemstones deck.
