We say: A three dimensional fox leaps over a crescent moon. The back is hollowed in places but this is made from good thick silver, which is demonstrated by its weight of 8.55 grams. The cat and moon symbols combined relate very strongly to deep intuition and knowing as well as magick and witchcraft. This is a beautifully solid and shiny pendant.

Fox (1) - Cunning, Protector, Observation
The fox is commonly regarded as being a cunning and wily animal, that moves through the night hunting for food and manages to blend in with the scenery and camouflage itself from view. The fox is seen as a great observer, carefully monitoring his environment and keeping an eye on all that is going on. The fox is also adaptable, happily setting up home in country and urban zones and its quick-witted nature means that it can spot and escape danger at a minutes notice.

In Native American belief, a fox is regarded as being a great protector – it protects its family and keeps everyone safe and well. Due to this, the image of a fox is often used as a protective talisman, particularly by anyone who’s going travelling or will be away from their family.

Moon (17) - Intuition, feminine, psychic
Throughout many traditions the sun represents the father and male principle and the moon the mother and feminine principle. The energy of the moon is intuitive, deep, subtle, feminine and psychic. To say this is a feminine energy does not mean to say this energy is just for women. Men and women have their female and male aspects. We all develop them both.

The moon is also associated with clairvoyance and knowing without thinking. To use the energy of the moon does not involve conscious thought. So to wear or have around you the symbol of the moon is to state your universal intention to use your intuition, to simply go with what you feel and to know that to do this is for your greater good.

The moon has different phases and throughout these phases it affects us in different ways. For example the full moon represents illumination, unconscious made conscious and all can be seen. The crescent moon symbolises new beginnings and the making of dreams into reality. Because of this cyclic nature the moon it is also connected to rebirth and how our true essence really is immortal.

Peter Stone

Peter Koslowski had been working on merchant ships since 1983 while living in Sri Lanka and was fortunate to be exposed to an abundance of precious stones and he began to purchase and trade them, as well as silver. During this period he also studied gemology and jewellery making in a number of countries. This then lead to the founding of the Peter Stone Company in 1992 in Bangkok, Thailand, where he still resides.

Very cute, adorable and whimsical cat leaping over the moon! Perfect for Halloween, or to wear anytime if you love cats. I love mine with all the detail and the way the crescent moon partially "frames" the leaping cat. Wonderful!! Love the way it shines, too.
