The Feng Shui Bible by Simon Brown

By Rachel Newcombe View ProfileIf you’re intrigued to learn about the ancient art of feng shui, or deepen your existing knowledge, then The Feng Shui Bible is the ideal book to buy.
The book is a compact size, but is packed to the brim with all you need to know about feng shui, from the basics of what it is and where it originated from, to an array of different ways in which the principles of feng shui can be applied to your home, environment, work and life.
I’ll admit to previously only associating feng shui with home design, but this book delves into many more aspects that you can explore. For example, it looks at feng shui in relation to your moods, relationships, creativity, finances, family, career, nature and spiritual life.
The book is nicely presented, with easy-to-read text and inspiring photos and there are plenty of practical tips to take away and try out. It’s a good book to dip in and out of, especially as you may initially be interested in only exploring one aspect of feng shui, such as in relation to your home, and has so much information that you can come back to it time and time again and still learn something new.
The author, Simon Brown, is a well known feng shui expert, helping celebrities and major companies with feng shui issues, and his explanations about how feng shui can be applied to so many aspects of life are inspiring and informative. Tricky or unusual technical terms are explained in the glossary at the back and the book really does seem to cover all you need to know about feng shui.
