Exploring the Levels of Creation by Sylvia Browne
Sylvia Browne (8) - Hugely popular Psychic writer and lecturer
Sylvia Browne is a well-known psychic and author, who’s written a number of popular books on topics such as the afterlife, psychic matters, spirit guides, spiritual readings, angels and dreams.
Sylvia was born in Kansas City, Missiouri and her psychic gifts were notable from a young age. When she was only three years old, Sylvia declared that her grandfather was dead and that she would have a baby sister in three years time – two predictions that turned out to be correct. Although Sylvia’s mother, Celeste, wasn’t psychic, her grandmother Ada Coil was psychic, which is clearly where her psychic genetic gifts stemmed from.

Sylvia’s books have touched the lives of millions of people worldwide and she’s been a number one New York Times best-selling author. She regularly makes appearances on TV shows, including being a regular on the Montel Williams Show and Larry King Live.
When not writing books, Sylvia spends time working as a psychic guest lecturer, including on cruise ships, presents shows on Hay House Radio and is president of the Sylvia Browne Corporation. Sylvia is also the founder of the Society of Novus Spiritus, a church based in California.
The psychic genes have continued in Sylvia’s family and have been passed on to her son, Chris Dufresne, who’s become a well known psychic in his own right. Chris has been working as a psychic for over 25 years and, as well as working on his own, he’s also co-authored a number of books with his mother. These include, My Life with Sylvia Browne – A Son Reflects on Life With His Psychic Mother and Animals on The Other Side.

By Vernon Marshall View ProfileI have read, and in fact reviewed, books by Sylvia Browne before. I have been impressed by her mediumship skills and her ability to convey her positive and powerful approach to life after death. This book, however, has impressed me more. It is a much deeper and more philosophical work. It is a detailed description of the progress that is made by the human soul through the different existences beyond the apparent world. Browne herself acknowledged that there were many blanks in her knowledge and that there were many questions that came from her and from many others with whom she has worked. These blanks have been filled by Browne’s spirit guide, Francine. The book seeks to answer the deepest questions about the nature and functioning of the universe. It also gives us an understanding of the philosophy behind Browne’s own spiritual home, Gnosticism. There is information about what happens after death, how we may reincarnate, how we may originate on other planets and that we can return to their “other side” too. There is detail about “dark entities” and what their purposes are. There is also justification for such ideas with reference to scriptural texts.
This book is an eye-opener. It contains some weird aspects of what Browne describes as basic divine creation. It is an amazing read, however. At less than 200 pages it is not a difficult read. For those who want to understand a deeper form of “spiritualism” then this book will provide for them a complex and serious philosophical underpinning.

By Emma, Wrexham View ProfileExploring the Levels of Creation is another easy read and page-turner from Sylvia Browne. Beginning with the preface and introduction there is a little about Sylvia's spirit guide, Francine, as information from her is peppered throughout the book. Sylvia talks about the schematics of creation and her beliefs about the creation of the universe, entities and dimensions. She concludes the introduction by advising the reader that these are her findings and to make their own mind up.
The book is divided into four parts. In Exploring the Underworld Sylvia gives us her take on fairies, gnomes, giants, unicorns, goblins and the mind-dump area where the bogeyman resides. The Seven Levels of Life on Earth includes information about the stages of birth, formative years, learning, pre-adolescence, young adulthood, adulthood, and old age which were pretty self-explanatory. As we move onto the third section, 'The Seven Levels of the Other Side', the transitional state and orientation processes which occur after death are explained. She then talks about how we exist according to our passions such as animal husbandry, horticulture, science, teaching, mystical travelling and explains more about how that all works, which made sense in some ways to me, but not all. Finally the reader is taken to the seventh level return to the Godhead which was a lovely, albeit short, section.
The last part 'A New Look at Some Old Favourites' seemed like an interesting bonus extra, or after thought, to the book. Sylvia revisits the 12 levels of the soul, relating them to Genesis and her own research over the last 50 years. She then opens herself up to include a viewpoint from God which is of a similar vein to Neale Donald Walsch's approach, which worked for me. She then goes on to explain......more
