Dimensions: From top of dove to bottom of actual tubular chimes is about 35 cm (about 14 inches). The total length from the top of the windchime hook to the glass ball at the bottom of the string is about 77 cm (about 30 inches).

The dove is made from resin that contains glitter, so the light shines through the dove which gives off some wonderful sparkles. The four "chimes" are suspended from a coiled spring which gives a little extra bounce and makes the light and gentle chime noise last a little longer. At the bottom of the chime is a glass marble which gives the windchime weight.

Choice: You will need to choose between a gold coloured and silver coloured windchime. Both are exactly the same in every way apart from the colouring. You receive one windchime.

 

Dove (3) - Peace, love, purity
The dove is universally regarded as being a symbol of peace, and is also associated with purity, love and tenderness.

Christian's view the dove as the symbol of the Holy Spirit. In the Bible, a dove notably returned to Noah on the ark with an olive leaf in its beak, which was seen to be a sign from God that there was hope in the midst of the treacherous flood.

In China the dove is a sign of longevity, and in Japan it's depicted along with a sword to represent peace. Two doves shown paired together represent the unity of love, when two individuals join together in a partnership.
