Diary of a Psychic by Sonia Choquette

By Emma, Wrexham View ProfileI thoroughly enjoyed Diary of a Psychic by Sonia Choquette and would really recommend it to anyone interested in psychic development. Her style is chatty, personable, and easy to read whilst also being down to earth. I found it to be a page turner, which didn’t disappoint me as I have wanted to read it for some years, but hadn’t yet got round to it. I will be recommending it for the Psychic Development course that I teach. The book itself is beautifully presented from the outside cover, to the black and white illustration of a bird at the beginning of the chapters and fancy page number illustrations.
Sonia begins her book by describing her childhood and family background, going on to focus mainly on her psychic experiences as a child growing up (her accounts of finding Christmas presents I found particularly amusing) and also some of her personal story. She discusses her psychic and spiritual development in a grounded way, talking about some of the psychic development exercises including techniques for closing down to prevent information overload and overwhelm. She documents her journey with her teachers too, explaining how she met the physical ones and her spirit guides, talking about meditation and also about her soul mate. There’s warmth and humour too throughout, especially when her own psychic experiences come back to haunt her through her children!
This book may appeal to psychics, those who are developing, therapists, healers and fans of autobiographies.
