Judy Hall is an internationally renowned author who’s written a range of books on subjects such as past lives, crystals, reincarnation, astrology, healing and psychology.
A natural psychic, she’s worked as a karmic counsellor for over 30 years, as well as doing healing, astrology, broadcasting and running workshops. Judy is very knowledgeable about world religions and mythology and has a B.Ed in Religious Studies and a Masters in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology. One of her great mentors was Christine Hartley, famed for being Dion Fortune’s metaphysical colleague and literary agent.
Judy has been actively involved in media work, both promoting her books, as well as her strong interest in reincarnation, and articles about her have appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world. She’s also done a lot of TV and radio work too, both locally in various regions of the UK, nationally and internationally.
When not writing books, Judy works as a healer and counsellor, utilising natural healing methods and divination, and has clients from varied walks of life. She’s also involved in running workshops and, again, these take her around the world.

Written in a very down to earth way the book opens with information about crystal abundance, vibrations, and history including biblical references, the structure of crystals and how they are formed. Moving on to uses for crystals, there is a section on crystal protection including spleen protection which I was interested to learn more about. It also includes information about gridding, creating a safe space and also information about the Greenland stones.
The Directory of Crystals format is the same as Vol I, so there’s information about colour, appearance, rarity and source, as well as the attributes, uses for healing and where to position the crystals. The photographs of the crystals, are clear to aid identification.
At the back of the book explains how to care for crystals, as well as finger dowsing and making gem essences. There is information about the 7 major chakras and some of the higher ones, as well as how to make a crystal medicine wheel. The book ends with a handy glossary at the back. Lovers of crystals may however find themselves faced with a similar problem that I had after reading this book - I went into ‘I want’ mode! Quite simply, The Crystal Bible volume II & I are books that no crystal lover should be without.
By Nikki, Exeter I own both volume 1 and volume 2 of The Crystal Bible and would highly recommend them to anyone who loves crystals. They are very useful for those who are beginning to explore crystals as well as those with some experience of using them.
