Dimensions Overall height of Celtic soapstone oil burner is about 11 cms (4.5 inches). Inner diameter of bowl is about 7.75 cms (about 3 inches), which is probably holds nearly twice as much water as our "small" soapstone oil burner.
We say: You would normally place some water in the top bowl, light the candle beneath (tea light) and then tip a few drops of your chosen essential oil onto the water. Then as the water heats, the fragrance of the oils is released gently into the room.
Please Note: Never put essential oils directly into the bowl without water as this will cause overheating and probably burn the oils.
