Sylvia Browne is a well-known psychic and author, who’s written a number of popular books on topics such as the afterlife, psychic matters, spirit guides, spiritual readings, angels and dreams.
Sylvia was born in Kansas City, Missiouri and her psychic gifts were notable from a young age. When she was only three years old, Sylvia declared that her grandfather was dead and that she would have a baby sister in three years time – two predictions that turned out to be correct. Although Sylvia’s mother, Celeste, wasn’t psychic, her grandmother Ada Coil was psychic, which is clearly where her psychic genetic gifts stemmed from.
Sylvia’s books have touched the lives of millions of people worldwide and she’s been a number one New York Times best-selling author. She regularly makes appearances on TV shows, including being a regular on the Montel Williams Show and Larry King Live.
When not writing books, Sylvia spends time working as a psychic guest lecturer, including on cruise ships, presents shows on Hay House Radio and is president of the Sylvia Browne Corporation. Sylvia is also the founder of the Society of Novus Spiritus, a church based in California.
The psychic genes have continued in Sylvia’s family and have been passed on to her son, Chris Dufresne, who’s become a well known psychic in his own right. Chris has been working as a psychic for over 25 years and, as well as working on his own, he’s also co-authored a number of books with his mother. If you are a sceptic or not, this is pretty convincing, and you will probably take some of it on board. Twenty years of research have gone into this book, so it does cover a lot of ground. The author starts by explaining the reason why she believes in angels with her childhood experiences. Each chapter talks about a different angel hierarchy with each angel having a specific purpose. The author provides us with a chart showing the angel characteristic, and describing also how they differentiate. We are told how they can help us in our daily life, and that we can call on them. There is also a chapter on frequently asked questions, and another on angels stories which were sent to her by countless number of readers. It seems also that angels could appear to us also as normal human beings, so as Sylvia says be aware of who you might be talking to on your next journey! Not only this book is written on a religious point of view, but also with Sylvia's psychic abilities, we do get an insight how the other side lives. Further on, the author writes about reincarnation. Through her spirit guide called Francine, we are told how angels play an important role in helping us to choose a new earth life. The book also offers a meditation in each chapter to help us heal. I read several books on angels but with the help of Sylvia Browne I have a better knowledge of angels. If I ever encounter one, I might be able to recognise which type of angel it is!
