Angel Cards (20) -
Angel Cards do not conform to any one particular system so therefore the number of cards in a deck can vary. Most have pictures and some, like the Angels of Light cards do not. Angel cards give angelic wisdom and help give more clarity and input into our lives. The "Original Angel Cards" are the cards that are thought to have given popularity to angel cards back in 1978 with the start of the Transformation Game at the Findhorn Community in Scotland. Since that time there have been many angel card decks produced. Some of the most popular are by Doreen Virtue, Diana Cooper and also the Original Angel Cards.

Working with Angel Cards

By Susan Daniels View ProfileThese cards are lovely. Their simple drawings are ideal for children to look at and understand. I used them with my son who's 5 years old and is well acquainted with the idea of angels from my own belief in them and my regular ramblings when asking for a parking space or thanking them for their latest bit of guidance. Although the pack suggests you take one card and then look at it, my son preferred to choose a card by its picture, which I would then read and explain to him. (Beware the 'Wish' card incidentally which kept me very busy as I fulfilled angelic wishes such as 'I wish for a bag of crisps in my lunch box'.)
These cards are a nice big size and are written simply enough for children to understand. They're a good introduction to angels, and offer a bit of warmth and reassurance to children that there’s more to life in a world where they seem to grow up and lose their innocence all too quickly. With cards covering friendship, comfort, strength and laughter to name a few, there seems to be something to cover every event that a child may meet as they grow.

By Aimée Scanlon, Cork, Ireland Beautiful illustrations and easy to read and understand for younger people. Fab way to introduce young kids to connecting with the angels.
