Review(s) for CD: The Wayne Dyer Collection

Review posted by Anne Marie Welch View Profile

The Wayne Dyer CD collection covers four different topic areas which are taken from his books. The first one called “There is a Spiritual solution to every problems” is recorded where Ralph Waldo Emerson used to lecture in a Church, Massachusetts and is my favourite CD as I was left feeling very positive at the end of it. It is about integrating spiritual concepts into our daily life. Wayne speaks how, when at a younger age during a science class, his teacher asked that everyone collect the different leaves they have been talking about in their exams. Wayne Dyer just did not see the point and refused saying “I will not be doing this” as he had already passed his exam. He talks about Transcendentalism and integrating spiritual concepts into one’s life. He quotes David Thoreau and Francis of Assisi’s famous prayer “Make me an instrument of thy Peace”. There is also a bonus part at the end where he shows to his audience, using a woman for his demonstration, how our energies become strong when we have pleasant thoughts and how our muscles weaken when we think about something negative. His younger daughter “Sky” also sings Amazing grace to end the workshop.
The next CD is called 10 Secrets for Success & Inner Peace. They include “Don't die with your music still on “ Wayne Dyer tells us that we must live our dreams before it is too late, “Give up your personal history” he explains that we must not live in the past and carry our baggage if we want to live in peace, There are no justified resentments” there, the Author says that we must not resent anyone as we all come from the same energy; “Treat yourself as if you already are what you would like to be” he explains how our thoughts make everything happen.
The third CD is called “Improve your Life using the Wisdom of the Ages”. In this CD Dr Wayne shares with us the past wisdom of ancient and modern teachers. He suggests that we should live our own life rather than living someone else’s.
The last CD “How to get what you Really, Really, Really want” explains how we must focus our intention to something we want and not on something we don’t want to make our wishes come true. The universe duplicates our wish so if we think “me, me, me” all the time the universe will send your wish back with “me, me, me (meaning the Universe) and not yourself”.
These CDs are very rewarding to listen to, full of fun but very inspiring to anyone who needs help with changing his attitude to live and make it more successful, I highly recommend it.
