Therapy Cards - Massage

These cards come in a lovely handy sided box. There are ten cards in all which fold out into five sections with information on either side. Each card covers an area of the body from the neck and shoulders, to the back, to the front of the legs and feet. There are detailed photographs on each card showing precise hand movements and the area you are working on. The description that goes with it is very good telling you not only where to place your hands but also how to lean your body into the movement for full effect. At the back of the card is a section describing common ailments in that area and the best course of action in each case, be it through massage or in more serious cases a referral to a professional. This section also describes essential oils that are helpful to use. The first card introduces the basic strokes of massage from the petrissage movement to kneading, and there is also an instruction booklet that describes the benefits of massage and how to use the cards. These cards give you all the information you need to learn massage in a quick and informative way (and without lots of waffle).
