How can I ensure I get goods in time for Christmas?

Goods will leave us just as quickly as ever throughout December and January, with no backlog (we have always managed to avoid backlogs and we have been trading online since 2000).

Our policy is just the same as ever throughout this period - order by 3pm on a given weekday and we send that order out on that day. (We don't dispatch goods on Saturday or Sunday, nor on Bank Holidays). UK orders are sent out by Royal Mail first class post or by Special Delivery if you pay extra. Internationals go standard airmail. There will be normal postage deliveries (and collections) to most areas of UK up until Thursday, 24th December 2009.

First class Royal Mail (our standard UK service)
Royal Mail say their last posting date to arrive by Christmas is Monday, 21st December. If you place your order with Holisticshop.co.uk by 3pm on Monday, 21st December your parcel will be sent by first class Royal Mail (our regular service). Last year we were still getting many next day or two day arrivals of parcels at this time.
(Please note this is a non-guaranteed service and ordering before this date is recommended if possible.)

Royal Mail Special Delivery (pay a bit extra when checking out):
For delivery by Thursday, 24th December order by 3pm on Wednesday, 23rd December.
(Please note this is a guaranteed service. Ie you get your postage money back if it doesn't arrive on time and we will also pay your postage to return the goods to us if required)

International orders
Airmail to Australasia, order by 5th December.
Airmail to USA, Canada, Eastern Europe, order by 10th December.
Airmail to Western Europe, order by 12th December.

The only weekdays we will not be despatching are
Friday, 25th December 2009 (Christmas Day)
Monday, 28th December 2009 (Boxing Day)
Friday, 1st January 2009 (Bank Holiday)

Please also note that on the 24th December and the 31st December only orders placed by 11:00am will be dispatched as Royal Mail are collecting from us early on these two days.
