How long does delivery take?

Our normal business hours are Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700 hrs.

We have orders arriving with us all the time. We do not have a shop. Internet mail order is what we do. And we like to do it well. If we get goods out quickly to our customers then they are happy customers and they will hopefully return again and again.

In practice, any order placed with us by 3pm normally leaves us that day. How long it takes from then depends upon the method of transport. Most of our UK deliveries are sent by 1st class Royal Mail. The majority of these parcels arrive within 1-3 days. But we have had the odd parcel take up to a week by this method recently. But that is more the exception than the rule.

You can also get UK parcels delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery. This is a more expensive option and depends upon the weight of the shipment (the options and different prices will be stated as you check out). If you order by 3pm on a weekday (Mon-Fri) with this method the shipment will be with you the next day by 1pm. Orders from Friday will be delivered Monday, although sometimes they may come on a Saturday, but this is not guaranteed. Deliveries are not made on bank holidays. But the disadvantage is that you do need to sign for the goods. So if you are not going to be at home then you may want to have it sent to your place of work where someone can sign for it.

International shipments are sent by Standard Air Mail. This takes normally about 1-2 weeks for EU countries and 2-3 weeks for countries outside the EU.

If we cannot dispatch your order within 24 hours of ordering (Monday - Friday) we will let you know by email within 24 hours to give you a reason for the delay and a list of options available to you. Obviously one of those options would be that you can cancel your order.

When goods become out of stock on the website you will see the red out of stock button. This will prevent you from ordering items. But if you click this button you can record your email address and you will then be sent an automated email reminder when this item becomes back in stock again.

We hold all items on site and we never rely on third parties to deliver for us.
