Dimensions: Length of clear quartz crystal pendulum is 30-45mm, top to point. Length of silver coloured chain about 27cm (about 10 inches). The clear quartz pendulums are the same as our plain Brazilian pendulums. The only difference is these pendulums have 7 crystal chips representing the 7 chakras. These chips are on a tiny piece of connecting elastic. Sometimes when you receive your pendulum you may need to adjust the balance of the pendulum by moving where the elastic connects to the top of the pendulum.

Brazilian or Indian pendulums?
This pendulum is made in Brazil. We used to buy clear quartz crystal pendulums from India. But we have found over time that the Brazilian made pendulums are just better made and with usually a better quality of crystal. So even though we can buy much cheaper in India we have now elected to buy our clear quartz crystal pendulums from Brazil. We hope you agree.

These pendulums will be mostly clear but will also have some markings inside them as the quartz in natural quartz. You won't find surface scratches, or a really cloudy pendulum. These we sell separately as "minor imperfections".

Pendulum - Instrument used for dowsing
People who use a pendulum believe that the answer to every question an individual may ever ask is already in their subconscious mind. They believe that a pendulum can be used to form a link with this information on a very subtle level. The information a pendulum gives us - usually in the form of 'yes' or 'no' answers - through the manner of its rotation, can then help in pursuits such as finding missing objects, locating ley lines (energy lines in the earth), locating weaknesses or strengths within the human aura and helping us to make decisions.

If you wanted to, you could use a stone attached to a piece of string as a pendulum. The reason there are different styles and shapes is purely for preference. Simply choose the shape and material that appeals to you. For a crystal pendulum you may choose a stone that has qualities that you wish to see appearing more in your life.
