This book belongs to Stuart Wildes quintet of The Force, Miracles, The Quickening and The trick to money is to having some. The book is not an endless list of affirmations but is about the personal power we place behind the word to make changes occur in our lives. It is based on the S.W.A.P. (Stuart Wildes Alternative Philosophy) about life experiences and spiritual journey.

This is my first read from this author and I couldn't put the book down and I can see why he has a following. He is an interesting man indeed and the book is interwoven with stories from his life and journeys up the tunnel of light, which had me laughing at some points. He makes the reader question attitudes, beliefs and societal structures in a straightforward way, which I could imagine some readers might find difficult or uncomfortable. In taking back control of your life you need to put power and understanding behind the affirmations. The books organisation allows it to be dipped into for guidance, used as pick me up or as a reality check when life gets you down. I would love to read Mr Wildes life story.
