By Rainbow mum View ProfileThis pocket guide, like most of Virtue's writings, is an informative, entertaining, and easy read. In Earth Angels, she sets out the premise that most 'lightworkers', 'spiritual do-gooders' (pick your favourite label!) can be sub-divided into five groups 'Incarnated Angels', 'Elementals', 'Starpeople', 'Walk-ins' and 'Wise Ones'. The book includes a quiz, based on personality, looks & lifestyle choices to help the reader to determine which one of the Earth Angels groups they might belong to. The remainder of the book is devoted to the groups, their personality traits, history, common threads, life mission, and guidance for difficult times. Throughout the book, there are anecdotes and examples from many of Virtue's readers and clients.
Whether or not you prescribe to Virtue's theory, once you've completed the quiz & read the relevant section relating to you/your score, you will find it difficult (nigh on impossible) not to fill out the quiz on behalf of friends and colleagues and insist on your friends doing the quiz to compare notes and argue, I mean discuss. Those who enjoy astrology, numerology and other personality-based fields of study, will, especially, find this book informative. And which Earth Angel category, do I belong to? Well, that would be telling!

By Emma Sims View ProfileI loved this little pocket book and couldn't put it down once I picked it up! I felt that some of the questions in the quiz were provocative and got my mind ticking over. I had a pretty good idea which category I'd fit into, but was surprised to find that I scored equally for another that I had never even considered. It'll be interesting to do some research on that one, and there's a resources section in the back of the book pointing the various sub-groups to books, and websites. I found the little section at the end, 'We're counting on you' very inspiring, empowering and encouraging. I'm not too sure that my partner agreed with Doreen's ideas of what category he fitted into, when I did the quiz on him, but at least I can see it!
