Cosmic Triquetra with moonstone pendant (sterling silver)
Triquetra - Eternity, divine
The triquetra or triqueta symbol is made up of three interlocked circles which are fully connected together and can't be torn apart. It's thought to have originally been a Celtic symbol and is used by Pagans and Wiccans to represent the triple goddess - maid, mother and crone - and is sometimes referred to as the power of three.
It's sometimes used by Christians too, to represent the Holy Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit (sometimes it's adapted by Christians into three interlocked fish). Plus, others believe it represents similar trinities, such as:
The unbroken circle represents eternity and the number three is often seen as being a divine number. So it could be a good symbol to give to someone whom you wish to be with for eternity or to have around if you want to strength your connection with the divine.
Pentacle or Pentagram - Protection, communication with spirit world, magic
The pentagram was considered by the ancient Greeks and medieval astrologers to have supernatural properties and to be a protective symbol. Often in the past people would mark their doors with pentagrams to ward off evil witchcraft and spirits.
In good magic today (with the top pointed upwards) it is often used as a symbol to support transmission and communication with the spirit world. Its five points are often seen to represent the four classic elements of earth, water, air and fire joining with the fifth element of spirit to create life. A five-pointed star (pentagram) with a circle around it is referred to as a pentacle. This circle represents sacred space in which the fifth element of spirit controls the four earthly elements.
Also in the legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight a pentacle adorns his shield representing the five knightly virtues of generosity, courtesy, chastity, brotherly love and piety.
Moonstone - Intuition, renewal, awareness
Moonstone is mostly milky white, sometimes with clear areas, and some pieces exhibit a bluey chatoyancy or luminous reflection.
The delicate and motherly energy of moonstone promotes the use of intuition and gut feelings, rather than relying constantly on intellectual reasoning. As such, it acts as a form of energetic reminder of how you have all the tools to guide yourself, if only you give them a try and stop worrying too much.
Like the moon itself, the energy also carries it with a sense of renewal and the notion that life is a continuing process with many births and many deaths along the way. It can be used as a tool to help you accept this process more readily, and maybe even to welcome it, because every death and resulting birth brings you greater knowledge of yourself and the world you live in.
Peter Stone Company - High quality jewellery manufacturer
Holisticshop.co.uk has been trading with Peter Stone Jewellery for many years now because we consistently find their products to be of a high quality. The Peter Stone Company purchases raw silver and produces their own true .925 sterling silver alloy in their own factory. All rings are cast to size and craftsmen cut and inlay each stone for a perfect fit. Every piece of jewellery created is hand polished not tumble polished. The gems they use are of excellent quality and the prices we have always found to be very competitive.
Peter Koslowski had been working on merchant ships since 1983 while living in Sri Lanka and was fortunate to be exposed to an abundance of precious stones and he began to purchase and trade them, as well as silver. During this period he also studied gemology and jewellery making in a number of countries. This then lead to the founding of the Peter Stone Company in 1992 in Bangkok, Thailand, where he still resides.

By Kay,Cheshire Another lovely piece of jewellery. Very well made, and detailed. There is a feeling of serenity, contentment with this pendant. I love it.
