Tutankhamun was probably the best-known ruler of Egypt - also known as the 'Boy King' it is thought that he ruled for about nine years before he died aged eighteen. His name meant 'the living image of Amun'. This pendant of Tutankhamuns mask has a vulture on the headdress which signified dominance over Upper Egypt, a cobra representing dominance over Lower Egypt, and falcons on the shoulders as a connection to Horus. The original mask was made from solid gold and inlaid with precious jewels and coloured glass. You might choose to wear this symbol to show a love of all things Egyptian.
