Sandy Stevenson is an Australian who moved to England in 1965, beginning a search for a greater spiritual understanding of life. During I5 years of intensive study of the mind she had many personal experiences of spiritual phenomena, which helped her gain greater knowledge of the higher realms of existence. She planned and organised the hugely successful Earth Alignment Day on 21 August 1994 at Wembley in London, which involved 53 countries in a simultaneous chanting of the OM. This book's title attracted me in the first instance - particularly the strap line 'You can fulfil your part in Earth's true destiny' - and I wasn't disappointed, the content is fascinating. Ancient traditions and beliefs predict that the Earth and all humanity is experiencing a time of great change, this book gives an explanation as to why these changes are taking place. Those who are just now 'awakening' to the fact that they are one of the many 'Light Workers' incarnated at this time on Earth will find this book useful in explaining some of their experiences. We are told that the Earth began its energy shift in the 1960's and that the shift in consciousness has been gaining momentum since this time. The book explains why these waves of energy are being transmitted to Earth at this time and how they are helping to raise the vibration and assist the ascension of Earth and humanity. We are assured that it is not necessary to intellectualise and analyse what is happening, but are guided to have faith and trust in the perfection of Divine order. The book encourages unconditional love, a more spiritual way of life, loving gentle treatment of the Earth, and shows us how we can work on raising our own vibrations. It is explained that this is necessary in order for the Earth and humanity to ascend from the 3rd Dimension to the Higher Realms. A thought provoking and inspirational read.
